Cebu is known as the QUEEN CITY OF THE SOUTH, it is widely known to its SINULOG FESTIVAL that is held during the 3rd week of January and a lot of beautiful beaches and water falls such as Malapascua Island, Kawasan falls and a lot more. There are also a lot of tourist spots just like 10K Roses , Sirao Garden, Temple of Leah , Butanding watches in Oslob and a lot more. But Cebu will not just stop there, Cebu is also a treasured gem regarding to their mouth-watering STREET FOODS. We, the FOODLOVERS challenged ourselves to look for Street Food that cost not more than a 100 Pesos in Cebu. So you better read this until the end to know the street food that we really look below 100 Pesos and to also help you which street food is worth trying for in case you want to visit this place. So let’s get started.

First on the list is of course , the ever famous SIOMAI SA TISA. It cost around 6-7 Pesos and its authentically sold in Brgy. Tisa, Labangon. It is so famous because it just so affordable yet so YUMMY and you can together with the oh so spicy sauce and “puso” (rice covered with coconut leaves).

Best Barbecue that I have tasted

Barbecue in Cebu for us- are totally LIT. It is just so affordable yet so savory. It cost around 5 pesos to 65 pesos , it depends on what barbecue you wanted to eat. Just like the “isaw”, it only cost around 5 pesos to 10 Pesos and so many “pagpipilian” when it comes to food like seafoods, pork and chicken.
On our next stop, we went on Downtown area- the oldest street in the Philippines which is the Colon St. to see what we street food we can eat and get below to our said money. Luckily, we found a lot of street foods but this three (3) foods really catches our attention.

We found this in the heart of the city – Colon St., Cebu City this drooling mangoes. It cost around 10 Pesos to 20 Pesos each mango. It is accompanied by ” Bagoong or in Bisaya Hipon “, and salt.
Next, also famous not only in Cebu but we think in the whole Philippines and that is the Bananacue. It costs around 10 Pesos to 20 Pesos. It is also located in Colon St., Cebu City.


Kwek-kwek is a famous food in the Philippines and Cebu is not an exception on that. A matter of fact, every corner here in Colon sells kwek-kwek. So you don’t have any reasons not to taste this famous street food delicacy that every Filipinos and even Cebuanos are so proud of. It ranges to 3 for 10 Pesos accompanied by hot&spicy sauce or you can also choose sweet n’ sour sauce on it.
Lastly, is the sweet corn, just like Kwek-kwek it is also found on the nearby streets along with the kwek-kwek vendors. It costs around 15-30 Pesos each.

Cebu is a gem- a treasured gem when it comes to food that every Cebuanos taking cared of. In fact the food on our list never stop there, it has a lot that are still inside in the treasured chest.
